About Amylouise

Strategic Designer · Artist · Outdoor & Impact Advocate

Hello!  I help purpose-driven brands turn their values into visuals that inspire action.

I’m a creative who believes good design should do good. Based in the scenic Inland Northwest, I draw creative energy from wild mountain trails—and channel it into work that protects them. I find inspiration hiking through forests and soaking in wild landscapes—reminders of what’s worth protecting.

I've been making art since I could hold a pencil, a camera, or a paintbrush. My lifelong creative practice led me to earn a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and an AAS in Graphic & Web Design.  With my artistic intuition plus formal training, I bridge:
  • Artistic depth → Emotional resonance
  • Strategic design → Clear communication
  • Activist mindset → Measurable impact
Early on, while earning my bachelors, I was working as a temp in my 20s and had the opportunity to design a newsletter for the American Heart Association—a small but memorable project that allowed me to flex my creative muscles in a professional setting. That project sparked my love for mission-driven creativity. Since then, my collaborative journey has included:
  • Designing for passionate artists
  • Helping ethical brands communicate their values authentically
  • Partnering with nonprofits needing visuals that turn passive viewers into active advocates
  • Supporting Unschool and Homeschool families, advocating for children.
Today, I focus my practice on environmental and social impact—creating branding, web design, and campaigns that don’t just look good, but do good. Let’s build something meaningful.
When not designing: Trekking over mountain roads on photo drives, exploring a new hiking trail, or rewilding my backyard.
